Come Visit Us!
There is so much to do on a farm, but anytime we get visitors everything ceases for a bit and we get to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation…with YOU!
Everyone loves animals. We have a few opportunities for you to get up-close and personal with ours.
Drop-in visit – groups of six or less can come by the farm for $15 per family or group. It’s always a good idea to contact us in advance so we can be sure to be home. We’ll introduce you to the alpaca, chickens, bunny and dogs and answer any questions you might have during a 30-minute walking tour of the farm, weather permitting. These informal tours are available from 10 AM until 2:30 PM.
Ready to book your informal visit? Please call Tabby at 214-284-9218 or Kathy at 214-478-7087 or email us.
The Learning Tour - perfect for school groups, child care groups, senior citizen groups, homeschool co-ops and others. We offer weekday tours of 30 minutes to an hour and a half, include age-appropriate curriculum and hands-on demonstrations.
- Children from 12 month to 5 years old: young children will enjoy the farm the most with a 30 minute look at the animals and some hands-on experience with wool and basic processing tools. This is our shortest tour, perfect for little attention spans. Cost: $5 per child, adults are free.
- Children from 6 -18 years old: a more detail visit that includes learning about camelid species, hands-on demonstrations and activities using wool, fiber tools, with a completed project to go home with. One and a half to two hours. $15 per child, adults are free.
Alpacas are prey animals so we ask that you leave your pets at home.
Our insurance lady asks that everyone who visits the farm fill out this form and bring it with you.
*Please dress appropriately for current weather conditions. Closed-toed shoes are required for farm tours.
In April we cannot schedule tours due to shearing. The summer months are a bit challenging with the animals trying to stay cool so we recommend visiting the farm during the cooler months!
